BBE plays an important role in supporting local sport in Zierbena. Since 2003 it has been contributing towards the sponsorship of Zierbena Arraun Kirol Elkartea rowing club and Zierbena Five-a-side Football Club.

The Club´s crew members come from Zierbena and the nearby Encartaciones region and take part in the ACT league and in the Concha Flag (Bandera de La Concha). Its aim is to promote the sport of rowing among athletes so that it is beneficial for both their physical and mental health, enhancing sociability, teamwork, common efforts and the promotion of friendship.

C.D.F. Auzoak Zierbena is made up of players and coaching staff from Zierbena and neighbouring municipalities, and is the main exponent of five-a-side football in Zierbena..
